 MUSEUM GLASS

The last technology found to preserve the work of art is called “the museum glass” a glass that is anti-reflex and preservative. These range of glasses is part of the group called “special invisible glasses”. The mining of a special invisible glass is an extremely transparent anti-reflex with a low reflected light; basically eliminating the annoying mirror effect from a regular glass. The intent with a conservative glass is to preserve the work of art in a long run. This glass link together an exceptional anti-reflex creating a total reduction of the ultraviolet ray (this ray is responsible for the work of art damage, especially for the drawing water colors and pastel colors). This is the best way to preserve all of the above example, but also the valuable drawing that needs a glass to preserve, or all the case to satisfy the customer. This glass is treated on one side with a thin layer of silicon ultraviolet ray, the other side is sprayed with magnetron cathode rays. Thanks to this material the part is invisible. For all these procedures the block of dangerous UV ray is 97% in between 300-380 of the nanometer scale.

 TECHNICAL FACT:

  • Over 97% of light transmission
  • Block of 97% UV
  • Less than 1% of light transmission
  • Max size 101,6 x 152,4 cm.
  • Thickness 2,5 mm.
